This school is excellent! We have a second generation student attending. Both of my children attended; my daughter beginning in 3rd grade and my son as one of the students in their first 3yr old class in 1984. Now my daughter is attending in the 6th grade and has been there since PreK 3. She is very motivated and feels very much at home. We contribute her success in school to an environment that is both nurturing and academic. We hope to a part of the St. John Family for as long as we can.

Amazing school - we moved to Tampa summer of 2007 with an incoming 1st and 4th grader. The faculty, parents, and especially the children, were welcoming and very genuine. The teachers are first rate with a true love of their profession and of the children. The after school activities are varied - sports as well as fine arts. My children have done exceptionally well, both in academics and in the social sphere. Bottomline is that this school is a family.

My children love this school! They have been attending this school for 4 years. The teachers are wonderful. The academic program is very challenging yet not to hard for my children. My children are involved in the following extracurricular activities: art, computers, girl scouts and chess. These activities take place right after school is out and occur at the school. No need to be driving them to these activities!! They are not playing sports at the school as of yet. I believe sports start at 4th grade. Overall, we are very pleased with the school. The headmaster has been there approximately 28 years and he is wonderful!!

St. John Greek is an incredible top notch school! What sets STJG apart from other schools is the 'hands on' approach by the teachers, staff and parents that makes it so special. From the parent involvement (PTA, Dad's Club, etc.) to the excellent quality of the teachers there is a 'personal touch' to all parts of the school. My twins are in their third year at STJG and one additional reason that we decided to choose STJG was that the class sizes are incredibly small and the focus is all 'about the kids'! I would recommend STJG in all aspects!!!

We are pleased with the school and the small classroom size. It enables the teachers to give more individualized attention to each students needs. They have many sports and extracurricular activities in which the children may participate. The school has a high level of parental involvement.

Strong curriculum in a nurturing environment. Well rounded program unusual in school this size to have extensive athletics, fine arts, foreign language, technology & library/media center. Looking for students who are individuals. Don t expect all children to fit in the same size box and learn exactly the same way. Total size of the school community is small, which allows students to build more self confidence as it creates a comfort level for them. Unique Florida Studies program builds thorough understanding of the richness of our state through field trips. The school builds bonds between age levels reading buddy programs and other collaboration between classes. The faculty has a genuine love of the kids. The faculty tenure is amazing with many at the school 20+ years. Lastly, the school encourages and seeks parent involvement in all areas. Just a great school!
