my kids have been in this school for 3 years and we all love it so much. we wish we dont have to move just for the school. a very friendly and family oriented environment. the kids are learning alot depending on each ones abilities.

This school is excellent. The teachers and principal are caring, involved, and expert. The school is just the right size; every teacher there knows my child, her pesonality, and her needs -- and all seem more than happy to help her be her best while under their supervision. MHDS cultivates a sound learning environment that is individualized and challenging, and teachers work closely with each child to help him or her master concepts. My daughter just started at the school this year, and I honestly think you can not beat the package MHDS -- a perfect combination of learning, love, high expectations, and fun for children. A rare and wonderful school. The only thing I'd change is the cost.

This school is best for 'pre' years. They do not foster individuality and uniqueness. Alot of pressure is placed on the children to excel academically. They use Montessori 'tools', but the spirit is of your typical prep school. For the money paid you can do better. I was very dissapointed.

The Montessori House Day School offers the best start to education you could want for your child. Dedicated staff, enthusiastic and well-trained teachers, and a family-friendly community make it a nurturing environment for your child to discover a love of learning that will benefit them their whole life. The curriculum is stronger and more well-rounded than the public schools, and this school turns out students who are avid readers out of proportion with what you might expect. If you don't know quite what 'Montessori' education is, go for a visit, you will be hooked.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
