We have been at Beach Park for three years now and really love it. This school provides a safe, nurturing environment for our two children. We can see that they are challenged, daily, both intellectually and creatively. They get plenty of outdoor time, both in physical education and in the gardens where they experiment with the natural world. Their day is full of hands-on learning. The Montessori approach is fantastic, especially if you want to raise critical thinkers with can-do attitudes! We love Beach Park!

The school has been the only place that has provided an accepting, caring and fostering environment both for my son and daughter. In my son's case, Beach Park School provided us with the only alternative when other schools wouldn't accept him because he is profoundly gifted, and although we have had our ups and downs, the professionalism and courteousness of the faculty and staff at Beach Park School are second to none. They truly care about each student as an individual and are committed to expanding all children's horizons to give each child what he/she needs. I would recommend this school for anyone who is looking a caring, nurturing yet academic environment for their children and want them to succeed in all of the their future endeavors.

We are fortunate to have found Beach Park School for our children. The Montessori approach makes learning personal, natural and enjoyable for each child. The teachers and staff at Beach Park are dedicated to what they do and care about the students. The campus is lovely and you can tell you are in a special place from the moment you walk in the front gate. We really feel part of a community at Beach Park. The emphasis is on the children learning how to learn and not on learning how to take tests. They get involved in their schoolwork and projects because they are interested and the teachers support them in what they do. I think there is no question they are getting what they need academically and the bonus is that they are also becoming confident in who they are and their own abilities. We could not ask for anything more and recommend that parents who want a warm, positive and supportive education for their children consider Beach Park School.

Beach Park School is a home for my children. My kids have attended BPS for the past five years. The faculty of BPS is not only capable, but is composed of some of the most child focused and loving people one could meet. Being a Montessori trained teacher and having studied child development at a graduate level, I can confidently say that BPS focuses on the true core of Montessori-a child centered community offering the students a safe haven for learning and a place to grow at their own pace. I have seen all types of children grow and find their place at BPS. Each child is an individual person and Beach Park School offers a place for that individuality to grow and strengthen so that when the child leaves the school's gates for the last time.....they are ready to face whatever comes their way!

Beach Park is an amazing place for children to learn. As the parent of two students I can not imagine my children being at any other school. The staff and teachers work tirelessly to make a safe and loving environment for all children to learn and prosper. I feel very fortunate that we have found this wonderful school. Every day our children want to go to school and truly think that learnning is fun. Everyone at Beach Park really cares about the growth and individuality of every student. It is a wonderful community for both students and families. I am very happy to recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a school where every students counts and is appreciated for who they are.

This is the worst school in South Tampa. If your child does not fit their mold they have no chance there. Which is the opposite of true Montessori philosophy. I wish I had listened to rumors about their incompentance and not been swayed by their seemingly happy environment. They are overpriced, and elitest. The two teachers we dealt with had no compassion or strategies beyond what they read in a pamphlet. The director is an ice queen with zero personality. I would rather send my child to be taught by a pack of wolves than be subjected to one more day in this school.

I have nothing but fabulous things to say about Beach Park, which is a truly special school filled with love, learning, energy and community. My son just finished his first year at Beach Park, as a first grader, and I cannot believe how much he has learned in a single year. He is flourishing academically, socially, and emotionally. He is a quirky, eccentric kid and at Beach Park they celebrate and appreciate that rather than trying to squash the nonconformity out of him as they did in public kindergarten. The school is truly loving, close-knit, and adorable. I love all the teachers and staff, I love the student-driven, flexible learning and the emphasis on taking one's work seriously. and I will recommend the school to anyone looking for a school in Tampa.
