Lavoy Exceptional Center is a wonderful school the teachers, aids, staff, and principal are caring. Everyone at this school is in tuned to each child's disability and individual needs. This school is supportive to parents and families.
The school always goes out of it's way to provide literature to inform of events, etc.
My son Michael has been going too this school since he was seven years old. My son is now 18 years old he'll continue at this school till 22.
This school has helped lift his self esteem and will to learn and participate in peer activities.
My son is Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety
Disorder, Non Verbal, and ADHD. Since my son starting attending Lavoy he's loved going to school. I would recommend this school as a blessing and one of the best in Hillsborough County. The quality of communication the staff gives to the parents & families is outstanding.
I know placing your child with disabilities in a new school is scary for most parents. When I
placed my son in this school I was nervous.
The nervousness came from experiences I encountered in a regular public schools. Once
my son started at this school he was ecstatic.
Everyday my son has came home laughing and smiling since he's attended Lavoy. The most
amazing thing is one school can really make a difference. This school will make a world of
possibilities open for any child on it's campus.
This is for all skeptical parents and families to read based off the truth. Normally I don't share
information hopefully this review helps you all. When making a decision on an Exceptional Center I would pick Lavoy again and again.
Since my school has been attending Lavoy
for eleven years this makes a legitimate review.
Have an amazing day too you all and God Bless.
Our son Paul was highly encouraged and lifted at Lavoy. While this was some years ago, we feel the teachers there were exceptional in their feeling and care, and desire that our son learn and become a self-starting individual. He was given individual attention by more than one teacher, carefully handled when he misbehaved, and we are very satisfied that this is a great school for hurting parents to be lifted, along with their child.
