No, I did not owe any money to the school and I am not in any way trying to get 'back' at the administration. I am simply rating the school as I see it. I feel that the children aren't given the opportunity to think outside of the box. Everyone and everything is expected to be the exact same. Otherwise you are a 'problem.' My child, as a matter of fact, didn't have many behavioral infractions at all. He/she just was very unhappy because he/she felt like he/she was constantly being scorned for each and everything he/she did. There is a lot of negative reinforcement at this school. There needs to be more positive reinforcement at this school.
The curriculum is exelent.Teachers are well educated and the Christian doctrine is the best. I am verry happy to have my two kids there.
My two daughters have been been enrolled and West Gate since K3 and I thank God for discipline. That is what I want in a Christian School. My elementary daughter tested post high school in several subjects this year. I've seen the results, just ask the administation to open the test results for the school. This is a great school!
My four children have graduated from West Gate. I would have no other school public or private teach my children. The teachers and staff 'tell the truth' when discussing the children. They do not sugarcoat or tickle the ears of parents for good reviews. I have found nothing but love, care, and a real education. Academically, the school maintains the highest of standard. Morally, the children hear the truth from the Bible. After reading the complaints from the above, I wonder if they owed the school money, and are getting back at the administration by submitting a bad review. It is truly unfortunate for families who will see the results later when their children are grown. No ther place is better for a Christian education.
