The bullying is horrible !!! We won't be going back next year ! Neither the teachers or the principal would put a stop to it ...

Older school, needs refurbishment in many areas. Many kids come from lower socio-economic area. Low parental involvement. Parents need to volunteer to be a good advocate fro their child and see what's going on. There's a mixture of some really good teachers as well as many new teachers who are inexperienced. Stay on top of your child's education to make sure they are getting what they need. The present Admin. is new, and it takes times for them to really make lasting positive changes. They are trying hard to do good things. Mrs. Robison 1st grade, Mrs. Pierson 5th grade are two of the 'gems' there!

This school is very overcrowded. The parental involvement is WEAK! I went to a few parent meetings before I withdrew my child to homeschool and I can tell you that the percentage rate of parents who cared to show at these meetings was below 1%. Very sad.

I am pleased with Dodgertown. My son is having a difficult time with words and reading and they are using every resource available such as Title I reading program, reading buddies, and a volunteer who comes every Thurs. He is now being tested for L.D. and shows signs of ADD and we are trying to rule out everything else first before trying medications. The school is geared for children with disabilities and difficulties. It is an incredible school! Thank you all for your extra efforts in helping my child to reach his full potential, thank you.
