I can't imagine a better education exists than the one my daughter is getting at St. Ed's. The curriculum, leadership and importance of community involvement taught there can be demanding of the child and parents but are well worth the effort. The result of these demands is an intelligent, polite, respectful, hard working, ready for the real world, young adult. Their faculty, staff and leaders have never been stronger. iIt's a great time for this great school.
A+ school. My children are receiving a wonderful education, are challenged, and taught to be respectful and kind individuals. They are exposed to music, art, technology, many sports and projects that demand research, creativity and understanding, and they haven't left the lower school yet. The curriculum is demanding but they are taught by those who have clearly mastered their subject area.
This used to be a great school, unfortunately due to financial concerns all of the best teachers were let go. Also, the bullying was such a problem that we decided to remove our child from a very bad situation. The school seems to have a frequent turnover of headmasters. The one thing this school has going for it is that there are not any other quality private schools in the area.
My son attended and this was a far superior education to anything else in South Florida, including the Benjamin School (he transfered from Benjamin to Saint Edward's). The academics are first -rate and graduates are ready for the most competitive colleges and universities in the country. Bets of all, the faculy are kind and truly care about the students - they go the extra mile every day. Campus is also lovely and is on the Indian River lagoon.
Great School, I love it! It is very challenging and has a competitive atmosphere which encourages students to try their best. I go to St. Ed's and have a friend that goes to Gifford. I am in fourth grade and she is in 7th and I help her with her homework! I don't even get honors or Deans list at St. Eds and my friend is top ten out of 600 students at Gifford. St. Eds uses tablets which are must more advanced then a piece of paper. They also have instruments, a swimming team, and much more that other schools don't have. The only thing I found wrong with it was that there is only 10 minutes of recess, but that's ok!
My son has attended St. Ed's for 6 years. This school's facultiy, administration, and fellow parents have embraced my family since day one. We are middle to low income and there is no difference in the way each child is treated. St. Ed's give each child the tools to excel! We love it!
We absolutely LOVE Saint Edwards. Every teacher knows every child and parent by name. An enriching, family oriented, close knit community with small class size and individualized teaching. Two thumbs up!
The thing about St. Ed's is that it is an oasis in an area of the country well known for very poor, underfunded public schools. It's a very special school with a very distinct educational philosophy that is perfectly executed: serves the need of the 'whole student'. Kids graduate from this school with a very well-rounded confidence that is both emotional and academic. You hear often that St. Eds students do well in their first year in college because they are so well prepared and confident in themselves and their abilities. Students primariy attend southern colleges. Teachers and administration are really top notch and care deeply about preparing students for life, not just college.
St. Edwards offer's a wonderful education. It is a beautiful school and my son as excelled on on levels.
i love saint edward all of my kids have gone there... it is absolutely great
