Mixed review for this school. The elementry school is wonderful and has some of the best teachers. Every teacher my children have had in elementry have been fantastic. They push my children to new levels but, are also very loving. It is nice to see a teacher be able to hug a child. However, the secondary leaves a lot to be desired. It is a luck of the draw when it comes to teachers. Some are exellent but, many are horrible. The principle is probably the worst I have ever dealt with and has very little understanding of how to run a school. My child has also experienced bullying at this school and it has been ongoing. It has been reported and little has been done to help with the situation. Every child has different rules depending on grades and money donated. Good luck!

My preschooler comes home telling me bible stories. He teaches his younger brother how to pray. He has been taught morals and values that you cannot put a dollar amount on. I cannot say enough positive things about this school. It is on the rather expensive side and has been a sacrifice to send him there- but is more than worth it.

This is a great school- My son went there for the first time this year and we love it. It is a great school for my son who thrived there. I saw a boy who started there with a little confidance and now at the end of the school year what a Huge difference.. He is excited about going to school everyday and they are challanging him to a whole new level of thinking and Learning. I would definatly recommend this school to anyone who is considering a Private school.

In my opinion there is nothing Christian like about WCS. 99.9% of my daily emails received from this school has a dollar amount referenced for either a new fee or an increased fee. I once felt my bank had too many ridiculous unnecessary fees until I sent my child to WCS. With the cost of this school s tuition in addition to the many wonderful exciting opportunities they offer (for a fee of course) one would think they could at least afford better fold up chairs for parents to sit in when attending school plays or attending school meetings to hear all about the new fees coming. I thought this school was going to provide my child with a better foundation/introduction into the school world however after my child s experience at WCS (which involved bullying) I would not send my child here ever again even for free. Rating this school with one star is more than I'd like to give, 1/5th of a star is what's deserved (for the good parking spots they have) but I think more and more parking spaces will become available as parents stop sending their kids there. I'm one of five that will not be re-enrolling this year (that I know of).

They care more about your money than they do of a family's well being. We had to withdraw our child prior to the beginning of the school year and they wanted us to pay 50% of the tuition even though school hadn't started. $3000!! Didn't seem concerned or even sympathetic that we were experiencing financial difficulities as my husband was possibly losing his job..just wanted our money. Did NOT experience any Christian mannerisms with the situation. Also, my friend had issues with her child being bullyed in the PK3 class.

Was told that my child would receive more individualized instruction and small group work to present a challenge, but the whole year went by and nothing of the sort ever happened. Paid lots of money for him to go there, but he left learning nothing new. Could have sent him somewhere cheaper and got the same results. Disappointed!

We absolutely love WCS! Our kids are loved and nurtured and have excelled academically, socially, and spiritually as a result. I have such peace of mind knowing that the AMAZING faculty and staff treat them as they would their own. My kids' SAT scores are through the roof and they could not be happier. They have wonderful friends and a caring school family unmatched by any in our area.

All I can say is that I LOVE WCS! Wellington Christian provides such a loving atmosphere for my daughter. My husband and I always feel welcomed! Not only is she growing spiritually, but academically, she is much farther ahead than her friends who attend public school. WCS one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made.

This school is great!! My son is in PreK4 and he went to PreK3 there too. They have the best Early Childhood program. My son had been to 2 other schools before coming to Wellington Christian and he's learned so much and he truly enjoys going to school. The academics are amazing and the teachers really care. Other preschool programs he had been to seemed like daycare centers where the kids just play all day long. I'm confident that he's well prepared for kindergarten.

I've had nothing but awesome experiences at WCS. The teachers are the most loving, unselfish and caring group of teachers I have ever seen in one school! Our kids have exposure to variety of subjects that are taught to them in a way that they are so interested that they just want to learn more and more. I can't imagine having to send them anywhere else!

Awesome School! Smallest classes in the county, individual attention. I have had and excellent experience at WCS. Teachers care about students, and students actually like their teachers. Fine Arts, FHSAA sanctioned Athletics, AP & Honors Program, and their graduates get into top notch colleges.

My children have been enrolled at WCS for 10 years now. The quality of a private school education does not come close to a public school education. WCS standards are at a much higher level than what could possibly be expected from a public school. The student teacher ratio is outstanding. We love that we can afford to give our children the gift of a well rounded education. I would never consider placing my children anywhere else.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
