We love ETES our daughters go there, our 10 year old she's finishing 5th grade. Mrs. Migliara, Mr Benett, Mrs. Mart nez etc... The principal Mrs. Johnson The cafeter a everyone Great job
We are ending our second year at Equestrian Trails and couldn't be happier with the staff and principal. The teachers have been wonderful and my kids love it! The principal is always available and listens and makes decisions for what is best for students. We look forward to our many years ahead.
We love this school and my son really enjoyed having Mrs. Becker as a K teacher last year she is absolutely excellent! I highly recommend her!!! We are very happy with this school and have not had any issues with the front office staff as they have all been very helpful.
We loved this school, we had moved from VA thinking that the reviews were scary but we had a great experience (yes the lady at the front desk are not the nicest but the teacher staff is) we had Mrs. Page as my daughter's K teachert and she was the nicest teacher, she is really sweet to the kids and has a great communication with the parents, the trotter's club is a great club to put the kids on is you want them to stay active! Mrs.Johnson (the principal) is really nice too, she listen to parents.
Although the first three years were OK,we had a very frustrated 2011-2012 year with this school. My son was bullied by his teacher. Every snack that was given to him from home was inspected for sugar and teacher was telling the boy that if it was bought in a cookie aisle, it's not aloud; even though it was just a fig bar with sugar content less than in one banana. On the other side, teacher avoided any communication with me, parent. My notes in the agenda were left unsigned and unanswered. Some questions from children during the class was answered:"Oops, you missed it." or "Figure it out yourself." Trying to make an appointment with the school Principal became an impossible task. I don't know why my son was singled out by Mrs.Greene but I am glad we are out of this school.
BAD FIRST EMPRESSIONS First experience attempting to enroll my kids and was treated so very rude by the front desk admin (blond) I was so upset and offended I considered looking at private schools. After consideration I realized she would not be my Childs teacher and have little interaction with her ... at least I hope. Hopefully she can leave her negative attitude at home.
This school is great. My daughter attends grade K with Mrs. Martinez. The teacher is wonderful, and tries to adapt to her own special need. The staff members are great too, always smiling. I really feel welcome every time I visit the school, because they show a friendly environment. And I love the fact that they are always keeping you updated with phone messages.
I believe some of the 2008 reviews as the culture in the school has changed since then. The previous principal for many years resigned in 2010 & with her many problems. She fostered an attitude of disrespect, a condesending attitude & rudeness towards parents. Parents could not question anything because she would tell them they could go somewhere else if they did not like it! Thankfully we have a new principal that respects parents. The culture in the the school has changed & the staff is more respectful, friendly & open.
Equestrian Trails is well organized, well run , and an excellent school overall. I sent all three kids there and experienced their gifted program and the regular... Both are excellent. Teachers are very nice and dedicated to the kids as it should be. I feel glad they all got a good start with nice teachers who motivated them to learn alot. They all left with a good attitude about school.
My daughter studied and attended after care from second grade to fifth grade in ETES. Initially she was loner kind of girl. School gave her 'how to make friends' training and while leaving school she was confident, academically good and happy kid with good no of friends. I like this school for my daughter. Only thing bothered me was too many fund raising (optional) events but we didn't participate in many. I don't mind giving money directly to school so school should consider that option too. Thank you all the ETES staff.
I am a student who attended Equestrian Trails Elementary School for ALL six years. ETES is the school to be. The principal, staff and teachers are amazing. Students can learn a lot from this school, and I know I have. Not only do you succeed as a student, but this school is extremely FUN!!!!! They have tons of activities and events, that students will enjoy. So all I'm saying to you parents is, atleast try the school and I guarantee, you will be glad that you made this wonderful decision. Have Fun!
You know what, i was being a little too harsh on that comment below. He wasnt a horrible teacher, infact, he was very nice at times and was a very effective teacher. However, he did give a VERY hard time to a select few of us. and he doesnt really " irk me to my very core " he just bother me like a gnat every time i think about him.
I was a student there and its a good school. The teachers put in there all to make sure the students suceed. There are alot of school activities like Boo Bingo, Math Carnivel,Summer Camp, and ETC. I honestly loved my 4 years there as a student. GO ETES!!!!!
I absolutely love love this school and anyone who has said otherwise is ridiculas..my daughter is in 1st grade and its her 2nd year there and has Miss Webba dn we adore her..The principle is great..I have nothing but nuce things to say about this school..My child has learned soo much there:) Go Equestrian Trails!
I had a horrible experience already @ this school and I had to take my children out. The teacher my son had was found to yell at children and he never went over lessons more than once and when I went to the principal she would not help and refused to change the teacher, she only returned calls and didn't even suggest to sit down and discuss it. This school had been great but it is declining. I had to find a better school/learning enviroment for my kids. It was a sad and frustrating experience for my family.
We moved here from New Jersey and I thought the adjustment was going to be hard for my daughter. She is currently in the first grade and is doing well. Her teacher is Mrs. Keith she is a great teacher, and I hope her second grade teacher will be just as good.
My child goes to Equestrian and overall it seems to be a good school. I am just a bit frustrated at the Principal. I always thought she was very personable but I feel the communication can be better. I wrote her a letter a couple of months ago and she hasn't had the time to respond. That is a little frustrating. I would like more communication from all the 'specials' teachers. They seem to just chug along and never send the parents any updates.
My children went to this school during 2004-2005. Thank God we were re-zone. A teacher made my child's life impossible and therefor mine too. When I tried to notify the Principal she only got in touch with me at the end of the year and only because I call the School Board. My experience with this school was awful!!! My child still have nightmares of this so call 'teacher'. Thank God we don't go there no more.
My children have been attending this school for alittle over a year. They entered this school at the end of a school year and they made them very comfortable and adjusted right away. So far, I found the teachers to be very friendly and the principal is outstanding. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. You see her all the time with the kids. I came from a great NY school and I was very concerned moving to FL and their schools, but I'm very impressed with Equestrian Trails. I'm very happy my 2 boys go there.
