This a wonderful preparatory school. My husband and I will be forever grateful to everyone at this school. Our daughter wasn't learning anything at another private school in the area where she also felt mistreated and often ridiculed by some of the staff. The very gifted educators at Matlock are helping her achieve her potential in an atmosphere that fosters success and she is very happy there. I strongly recommend this school.
Matlock Academy is one of the hidden jems of Florida. Its academics are incredibly challenging, and the atmosphere at the school is one of success, support and achievment. This school took our daughter who was shy and struggling in another private school, and turned her into an academic force. She found her passion in literature, and has been on Dean's List at a top University for the past 3 years. I can't say enough about the work of these people. If you want a school that is different for all the "right" reasons, call Matlock Academy!
