I feel justified in reading the previous review left by a former teacher of this "learning institution" for I worked there less than three months. Not having books for each child is unacceptable and it is obvious that there are unethical practices being carried out at this school. (The money not being spent on books goes to whom?? hmmmmm) Expecting children to eat "silently" at lunch is inhumane and ignorant. Not having an appropriate behavior plan is the reason for most of the bad behavior. Children need a nurturing environment in order to succeed and I witnessed nothing of the sort there. Therefore if you want your child to succeed, this is the LAST PLACE you'd want to send your child!!
I was employed at this school for as little as three month and I found it to be one of the least desirable places to work for. The students did not have any of the core curriculum books. Teachers had to make copies of the work books for all of their students. The behavior problems in the school was high. Teachers worked long hours. The pay was not even competitive to Broward Schools. There where no highly qualified staff. I was the only one. Not to mention the principal did not have the credential necessary to be principal. I would not recommend this school for any one who wants to work there or send their child to school.
