This school is nothing short of amazing! My oldest son attended this school from 04-07. In this time they helped us discover that the reason my son was failing was because he was ADHD. He was secretly a genius! They got him on a 504 plan that supported both him and us. With in half a year he was on the A/B honor roll. The massive support was Amazing!! My second son only had the opportunity of attending here for 1 year, Kindergarten. He is a completely different child and is very timid and shy. They helped him blossom very comfortably and Everyone was so loving. They all remember the kids by names and are always having school functions. The only department I had concerns with was the lunch room. I was never impressed by what they were serving or their lack of attention on what the children where walking out of the lunch room with. Other than that, his teacher was so enthusiastic and the parent involvement was overwhelming, in a good way. They are very appreciative of their volunteers and have set the standards very high for my sons new schools. If your children have the chance to go hear, TAKE IT!!

With my 2 children we have experienced 6 teachers of the 45 or so, not including the 9 or 10 'specials' teachers. We have been very happy. Don't have an opinion on the new principal yet as i don't think she has really made her stamp yet. This school has about 1300 students which makes for quite a logistical challenge but the administrative staff do a fantastic job. The PTA has really opened up for new volunteers and involvement from 'new' parents making an opportunity for the school to get even better. Mrs Rosen (K) is an amazing teacher! I'd like to see more sports opportunities. I also see that the many children of teachers and PTA leaders get some special treatment. Many are concentrated into the gifted program and don't always receive consequences for bad (even aggressive) behavior. My one complaint.

Eagle Point Elementary has be awesome in my daughter's education she had special needs and the school was able to provide her with all the necessary tools and experienced teachers to make her succeed and level up. She is doing GREAT!. Mrs. LeClerc the school principal is the most dedicated and hard working principal in the world (trust me on this). Great communication with the teachers, parents are very involved in the school. I can not say anything negative.

My husband Anthony and I are so proud to have our son Michael at Eagle Point Elementary. The fact that he looks forward to go to school every day makes us very happy. He loves to be challenged and this school has exceeded our expectations. Michael enjoys sharing with us the new things he learns in school. All we can say is Thank you Ms. Lee ('K'), Ms. LeClerc, PTA and the entire Faculty.

This was my son's first year in elementary school, and we have been so thrilled with everything and everyone at Eagle Point. From the principal who sets the right tone for the whole school down to all of the fantastic teachers, everything has exceeded our expectations. The only drawback is that it is a very big school, but the classes are small, so the overall size doesn't affect things too much.

We moved into this school district about 2+ years ago, coming from an A - rated school in the past it was very important to match those standards in a new school. My son is now in 3rd grade here and I have to say I am very happy with my son's progress thus far. All of his teachers are great and any time I've had a concern, it has been addressed immediately. The PTA is very involved with the students. My son will be taking the FCAT this year and to prepare him he has been going to school on Sat Mornings. I think that is Fantastic! Eagle Point makes every effort to make every child a success!

The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
