This is a descent school unless you have a disabled child. They are ill equipped to deal with any physical or emotional handicap. Of course some go out of their way to at least try to help. Overall though they are truly clueless.

WHS is a jewel among public high schools in the state of Florida. In this small school, students are the first priority of all teachers who work there everyday. My son is a great students, but falls short in social skills. At WHS, the teachers, office staff and students make him feel like a part of something important. This shy sixteen year old, competes in Cross County, Track and Basketball. My family loves this school and all the schools in Wewahitchka. Great job and Go Gators!

Each school is assigned a letter grade (A-F) based on three criteria: the overall performance on the FCAT, the percentage of eligible students who took the test, and whether or not students made progress in reading and math. The School Grades are calculated by adding points earned from each of the performance criteria listed above.
