My son has been at this school for 2 years and he has had great teachers every year. They are dedicated to teaching and excellence. His preschool teacher realized my son had speech problems that I wan't aware of and he was quickly set up with a speech teacher a couple times a week. My son just finished Kindergarten this year. On the last day of school, he was sent home with material he could work on at home during the summer from both his teacher and speech teacher. This school is VERY involved in the students education and they TRUELY care about the kids AND thier parents. I love this school!!
Ms. Robbins was a wonderful first grade Teacher, our daughter had a hard transition prior to Ms. Robbins class, Ms. Robbins was able to contact and guide her. She was also able to break down learning and behavior barriers. . My husband and I are very grateful for her, She was so wonderful and dedicated. She has earned our respect and admiration. She will be dearly missed.
JBES is a great school for such a small town. The teachers really seem to care and the school is very organized and fun. My daughter was in V-PK this year and I'm very happy with the education she received and the teacher/student ratio was excellent.
Mrs. Gordon is the best kindergarten teacher I have ever seen in my life! She was so wonderful for our daughter and her dedication to excellence is very evident.
The ESE program in this school has been an absolute blessing to our family. The ESE teachers go above and beyond!!
This is a great school! My daughter is a first grader and was having trouble reading last year. With the small class size, her teacher was able to help her and now she's reading all alone.
If you want a friendly, loving and safe learning environment for you child, you cannot go wrong with JBES. We have had two children attend and both received high-quality instruction. Kindergarten was fantastic, although nightly kindergarten homework was questionable at times, in our opinion. I cannot compare 'k' programs elsewhere but we thought it was surprisingly academic. 1st grade depended on their teacher; not a high point but they still enjoyed it.
