My sisters and I went to williston middle school, and we did pretty good, I have to agree the school should focus more on the students then what they did, but overall it is a good school. I think that there education system is more advance and upgraded than many other schools outside of this small community!

The tearchers dont care about what the students are learning. They care more about what the kids are wearing and hugging instead of the educucation. The school is needs new staff. Students in Williston Elemenatry School had As and Bs, then got into Williston Middle and had Cs and Ds. Its not the child, its the school, and im not the only parent that said either.

I think that the school should notify parents when a child is having a problem. What I have found is they don't let you know until it's to late. If your child misses 9 days in a semester even due to a family emergency and he does all the make up work he or she still fails that semester. There is no incentive to work hard to catch up and they won't give you the work ahead of time for your child to not fall behind...Wouldn't recomend this school. In all the meetings I had with staff it was all about what my son wasn't doing. Maybe it was what staff wasn't doing. They need not teach reading, writing and math but teach children. They all don't fit into the same box and should be treated as an individuals.I hope this makes a difference for the next child

the academic programs could use a little work and they don't offer an art program as far as I know. their band program was great before the sad passing of Johnny Henry. they do offer a variety of sports programs. it's a pretty good school but I wouldn't recommend it.
