My eldest daughter graduated from West Orange last year, and my 2nd daughter is graduating this year. Both my children have been very satisfied with their experience at West Orange. The drama club, the music department, baseball team, wrestling team, NHS, and other extra-curricular activities are rated among the best. Both my girls have taken AP classes. My eldest earned 24 credits from AP classes, which were accepted at FSU. You can rest assured that West Orange is a great school.
West Orange provides a good-quality education to West Orange-area students, and we have been pleased these last two years with the administration's interest in, and guidance department's attention to, our child's growth and achievement. We've received much better guidance and support from this school than we ever received from our college-prep private school. The band program is excellent, and staffed with highly capable individuals who care about the students. We are thrilled with our decision to move our child into the public school system, and are excited at the prospect of our younger child starting as a freshman in Fall 2011.
My nieces attend this school and they love it!
Great teachers!! Great Band Program!!!
The administration is very accessible and helpful. The school has a good variety of classes to offer.
My daughters, a senior and a junior this year, love their school. There are many great teachers at this school and both my daughters are prouds to be Warriors. The leadership provided by Mr. Larsen has been the change that the school needed. Go Warriors!
Our senior at WOHS has thrived at this school! They have an outstanding AP program, a top rated choir, and wonderful sports programs. The Principal, Staff and Faculty truly care about the students success. My son has been accepted to a top-rated college with a scholarship and we know his success is due to the WOHS experience. It's a pleasure to call WOHS our high school and I can't wait for my two future Warriors to attend!
We have had children at West Orange for 6 years and another starting this fall. My husband and I appreciate the beautiful new building and the quality of teachers, especially in the AP classes. We are active volunteers and have seen first hand the commitment of the leaders and coaches in the fine arts and athletic departments. Our son is a Junior and is receiving requests from Ivy League schools. West Orange will prepare your child for the best colleges out there. Go Warriors!
I've had children at West Orange HS for 8 years and it just keeps getting better. The school quality and culture is generally a result of the leadership, and we have an excellent Principal, James Larsen. Dedication of the administrators, and most of the faculty and staff to help our kids to learn is apparent, and our new $85 million facility is great. Overall we have a nice group of students who want to learn and seem to enjoy being there.
My child is having a great experience at this school. We are very pleased with educators and addministrators.
