This is a great school! My younger son has attended this school all three years, and has consistently had good teachers. All of his teachers post grades timely to the district on-line gradebook, and most of them keep either a website up-to-date or homework posted to the district gradebook, which lets me keep tabs on my son's assignments. The band program is particularly excellent - it is one of the top band programs in the county, and the directors work hard to help students excel: for instance, this year we have more than 300 students competing at the district Solo & Ensemble contest, and the directors plan to work with each student individually at least twice! Our elder child attended a local prep school, which was snobby, cost a ton of $$ and only cared about the upper 5%tile. We are incredibly glad of our decision to send our younger child to Bridgewater to receive a better education, and for free!

I went to bridge water the first two years that it was open and it was terrible. The rating from a students perspective and a students are totaly different. The teachers other than my gifted teacher did not challenge me at all. Coming from new jersey to a class at bridgewater seemed like a downgrade from education. And in my mind i was bored in my classes for two years straight. The rules are ridiculous when it comes to the courtyard (which is made to be walked on) because we were not allowed to walk on it. So if you are looking at this rating, i suggest asking students who have been there to see if the school is up to par.

Great school. Moved my daughter in to start 7th grade. She was very welcomed by both staff and students. Many clubs to join, great band program. Excellent gifted teacher. Very challenging classes, yet fun for my daughter! Great support for the kids with tutoring program 2 mornings per week. Love this school!!

I went to Bridgewater the first year it was open, half way through the year (came from a Long Island school) and it was very easy! I was in honors classes getting straight A's. I had a few good-great teachers but the rest were poor. Since I left BWM, I have been going to Windermere Prep and like it a lot more, feel that I have to work a lot harder to get straight A's (which is what my mom wants) and I feel like family there. I don't know what BWM was like last year, however, if your child is coming from a private school or one which they had to work hard to reach a 4.0, then you might want to consider a different option for your child's education.

This is a wonderful school! I attended it in sixth grade, and had to move over the summer, but I'll be happily returning for 8th grade because I'm moving back in June! Never have I been so eager to go back to a school. I've had some pretty awful experiences with other schools in Florida, but Bridgewater is different. The teachers and kids are funny, accepting, and smart. The programs are fantastic and the curriculum is challenging yet benficial to my education. I'm especially excited to see one of my favorite teachers again, Mrs. Leisher. She rocks! I can't wait to go back! :)
