One child was at this school for 2 years. The Christian morals and discipling at this school put fear into my child over the last 6 months. This child could not even sleep at night. They give Baptists the the bad scary name! Parents went to change schools for the upcoming year and the Administration showed their true colors when they were asked for next years money to be returned. The Administrator bad mouthed the mother, would not speak to her face-to-face, and kicked the child out, with NO notice to the child, 2 weeks before school was over. She did not even have a chance to say good-bye to her friends! They also wanted to keep next year's money... how is that morally okay? Stay away from this school. Horrible experience. Disturbing to know they call themseleves a Christian school. Hertbreaking what they did to this child's emotions! Even more disturbing that this child and family had their child their for 2 years and makes you wonder what went on behind closed doors all this time.
We are taking our child out of this school!!! Beware!!! Administration is very unprofessional and dishonest.
Horrible Administation. Dishonest. Thiefs. Will keep your money, even when so services are rendered. Unprofessional. Poor communication.
I love our new Oasis Christian Academy formerly known as HCA. Our children have attended this school for more than 8 years now and I can't say enough good about it. There has been administration changes that have been great for the school and it's future. Many upgrades to the facilities and equipment have been done. The teachers are caring, not just for the education of our children, but their character as well. We have an excellent array of sports for the students to be involved it which is hard to find in good christian schools.
This school is such a blessing to me and my family. I'm so happy I have recieved the oppurtunity to go to this school. I've never seen students and staff care as much as they do here. The administration definitely does their job and tries to have the best quality children attend here. One can certainly tell they hope for a woderful future for each child, even if said child seems undeserving in another's eyes. There is so much more to come of this academy. Hopefully, with God's direction and guidance, you'll feel it right to be involved in this family!
I have two children that attend this school. I will say that Haven has been a blessing. While current administration is making changes, Oasis is undergoing strides for great athletic programs. Between these extra curricular and the focus on their spiritual needs, I feel I couldn't put my kids in a better place
Great school. I have had both my children in the school since first grade. My oldest one is now in high school.
HCA (soon to be Oasis Christian Academy) was the school I chose for my daughter after much prayer and consideration. She has been a student there for 3 years, and I have to say that if I had to choose again, I would still pick this school. I believe they have found the balance of grace and discipline, love and structure, that many private schools miss. They teach Biblical values, not just as a way to act, but as an inside-out complete life surrender to Christ. I feel confident that she is getting not only the academic skills she needs to succeed, but also the spiritual training as well.
We have multiple children at Haven Christian, soon to be Oasis Christian Academy. We are more than satisfied. There is no such thing as a perfect school. It is obvious that this school, that has been in existence for over 3 decades, is making some very needed transitional strides towards the excellence they are committed to. Our family has every reason to believe that Oasis Christian Academy will continue to excel and reach every goal they determine to reach. Great school.
Bad experience with this school! Please stay away! Administration mislead parents. Very disorganized and a lot of special treatment for church members. If you go to this church, you should be able to get a job at Haven!!
