Oasis Christian Academy is a fantastic school! It's academic standards are wonderful. The faculty and staff are caring individuals who strive for the very best when it comes to their students in every part of education. But (from the administration down) it goes beyond that, even to the personal development of the students. Of course, all of this is done with grace and love under an umbrella of Christian philosophy. The bottom line is that OCA is one of the best schools in the area, and we are so glad that our children get to be a part of it!!

My three children have attended Oasis Christian Academy for six years. We have had experience in elementary, middle, and high school. This school has had an amazing impact on the lives of my children. The facilities are not fancy, but, they are clean and well kept. The staff and administration are very friendly and caring. Great improvements have been made in the areas of technology and curriculum in the past two years. Without a doubt, the most treasured resource this school possesses is its caring and dedicated teachers. My tenth grader's math teacher moved away last year due to a job transfer of her husband. I was amazed at how this affected him. He was deeply upset that she was leaving. This was not because of the great love of math that she inspired in him, but, because her dedication had " inspired him for life". Her position has now been filled with an equally caring and dedicated faculty member. I am so thankful that my children are learning in an environment where their lives are being influenced for Christ daily in a life-changing way.

This school just gets better every year. Administration is always seeking to improve the Academy . Teachers are warm, friendly and communicative. I am so excited to be a part of this challenging academic, and Christian experience.

Oasis Christian academy says they are all about the kids. They are not all about the kids in fact they are all about the tuition and what ever else they can charge for. Like plastic silverware. The math program is awful half the kids struggle through because they don't have any type of tutoring to help the kids not to mention the math teacher does not maneuverable available for tutoring except for in the morning which is no help since the teacher has other students in the classroom for help as well in a 20 minute tutoring session.NO HELP!!! Alot of kids struggle in math here and it's not the kids it's the teacher and the school not making the necessary changes to help the kids or at least help the ones struggling. If there is a student of a employee best believe they get priority treatment over the other students especially if there is a altercation. Point is find a different school

I could not be more happy that my children attend Oasis Christian Academy. My kids came to Oasis from a large Christian school that considered itself to be a school of academic excellence. I found out that my kids were actually behind in their academics. I am so thankful to the teachers and staff at Oasis for their high standards in academics and I now know that my children are now receiving a better education than before. This school has great administration, quality teachers and staff, a great choice of extracurricular activities such as the sports program and drama, and a great vision for the future.

I'm so blessed to be a part of Oasis. I enjoy getting to work alongside teachers who are passionate about their subjects and the students they teach. I love my job!

The preschool program at OCA is second to none. As a parent, I love the domain centered hands-on approach to teaching my little one. He is frequently coming home with completed projects, and is telling me constantly about "awesome" things they do in class (even science experiments)! Both of the teachers have wonderfully warm, gentle, and kind spirits with a genuine love for each of the little ones they teach. I could not be happier with our choice for preschool. Thank you, Oasis!!

OCA is a wonderful place. The technology initiative this year has been phenomenal to watch. The smart boards, Kindle Fire lab, Mac book Pro lab and document cameras have made education so much fun and interactive. Thank you Oasis for continuing to be a center of educational excellence!

My daughter has been part of OCA since kindergarten. When we first chose this school for her, we were impressed with their dedication to academics and a Christian worldview, while still giving students freedom to express their individual personalities in the classroom. She is now about to enter the OCA middle school, and that dedication has not changed. She is definitely a "think outside of the box" kind of kid, very involved in the arts and very hands-on with her learning style. Over the years, at OCA, she has enjoyed music, art, and Spanish classes in addition to her academic classes. She is very much looking forward to middle school and the opportunities there for more music, art, language, and drama classes. The teachers in ALL of the classes strive to present material in creative and hands-on ways for the students. This school has been a lifesaver for a family needing a mix of Christian character, strong academics, and creative opportunities!

Oasis provides strong academics from an equally strong biblical worldview. All three of my children graduated from Oasis, earning Bright Future Scholarships, and were/are well-prepared for college.

As a teacher at Oasis Christian Academy I am constantly impressed with the quality of students at our school. We partner closely with parents to help them achieve a Christ-centered education for their sons and daughters. I can truly say that I do enjoy going to work every day. We teach Christ and character development. We happen to do that through English, Math, History, Science, Spanish, Fine Arts, and Athletics. What a blessing to be part of a community of God fearing professionals that love educating young people. Oas-ian for life!

Oasis Christian Academy is a wonderful, safe and family friendly school. My family has been a part of the OCA family for 3 years and we are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful Christ like community. We have experienced the elementary, middle and high school areas of the school and are pleased with the teachers, the curriculum and the administration. The school is fully accredited through ACSI, which is quite an accomplishment. There are very few schools who seek accreditation as it requires a tremendous amount of work on the part of the school, teachers, and administrators. Way to go OCA! I am proud to be a part of Oasis and my children are blessed to be educated by wonderful teachers who truly care for them as they teach everything from a Christian Worldview. The teachers are what make the difference. They run everything that is taught through a Christian filter and equip their students to face the world educated and prepared to stand for Christ. I am so thankful for Oasis and the firm foundation that is being laid as my family partners with the best school in Winter Haven! WE LOVE OASIS!!!

Fantastic, rigorous academics! Curriculum standards could not be higher at Oasis. As a fully accredited member of ACSI, the curriculum as been approved by some of the most rigorous inspection available, and I, as a parent, am thrilled that my children get to attend OCA. We have been there multiple years, and have truly come to love the faculty there as they are very transparent in their desire to teach to such high standards but with a Christ- centered worldview. Every subject for each grade is run through a Biblical filter; I love that! The devotion of the teachers and administration in the way they strive to support the intellectual, emotional, social, and most importantly, spiritual development of each and every student there in order to prepare them to serve wherever the Lord calls them is readily evident in the way they regularly communicate and focus on and endeavor to partner with parents for success in each individual from tutoring before and after school, to providing a student counselor with a heart for youth, to giving social opportunities for relaxing and mingling, to weekly chapels, and as mentioned, filtering everything that is taught through a Biblical filter.

As a long time parent at Oasis Christian Academy I could not be happier with the improvement the school has made year after year after year. What I appreciate is the Biblical Christianity I see lived out in the teachers and administration and taught through the subjects. As I said I have been a parent at Oasis for a long time. My kids are safe, and happy, and growing!

I teach at Oasis Christian Academy and I love it here. I appreciate the emphasis our school puts on education. We can be Christian and still hold our students to high academic standards. The school is almost finished installing smart boards in every classroom. I also appreciate a work environment where I am allowed to teach with tools I deem appropriate - even the occasional warehouse school textbook to reinforce our Christian curriculum.

My children have been in several different Christian schools. As a parent, I have really appreciated OCA for its diversity in curriculum. They have helped my children see the world as a mission field through the use of both secular-based and Christian-based texts. The teachers at OCA have a love for each student as well as a desire for each student to succeed. I am very thankful that when I drop my children off at school, I don't have to worry about the influences around them. Thank you OCA.

Oasis Christian Academy is a wonderful Christian environment for my children. My son and daughter have thrived under the care and direction of their wonderful Christian teachers. All of the staff from the receptionist to the teachers to the administrators are so helpful and poor themselves into my children daily. Thank you Oasis for loving my children and partnering with me in the education of my children. I would not want my children to be at any other school. Oasis is the best school in Winter Haven and the only school in Winter Haven fully accredited through ACSI. Good job Oasis!

False advertisement. Christian character is not practiced. Curriculum substandard -rejected books from the public school board sent to a warehouse, are used by the students. Counseling not provided. Sports program NOT available for Homeschool students -except, if prospect full time student at school. Communication is poor between teachers and parents. There is an unhappy mood among staff, workers, even some administration personnel.

Oasis Christian Academy This school has been a blessing ever since I entered it. I came to the school nine years ago and could never imagine being anywhere else. I was quite the character when I first came, especially since I came from a public school, so it took a lot of diligence and studying to keep up with the rest of the students. It took only a few months and help from the teachers to get me to where I am today. The staff and teachers are such beautiful christian people, they never hesitate to pray or help you with any issue one might have.they care for you as if you were one of their own children. I am going to miss this school, as I am graduating next week and venturing out to get my degree at PSC, but I will never forget about the relationships I have gained with the students and teachers. My relationship with God is stronger than ever and without the help of many of the teachers I would not have the relationship with God. Thank you to every one. I highly recommend this school to any parent wanting their child in a safe, friendly, loving, family like environment.
