This is a great school with great communication and options for smart kids that want a no-nonsense education. The opportunity to progress at your own pace in an online environment prepares kids for the popular online college classes. The principal and teachers care about the students and offer small class size with an individualized academic plan. It is an improvement from the impersonal nature of the Polk county typical classroom.

The Life skills program is the only school that allows the students to go at their own pace. My 16 year old daughter was ready to quiet like her older brother who quiet at 16. I was heart broken but her decided to go to Lifeskills. My son also agreed to try it. That was last year and she will be graduating a year and a half before the polk county school system.

Extremely unhappy at that school. So glad I've graduated from there. Teachers ignore you and your requests, students are loud and out of control.
