I have 3 children that attend Alpha Christian Academy. I have to give the school a 5. My oldest has been there for 6 years and still loves it. The school is a smaller school which makes everyone feel welcome and we are all like a little family. The teachers are a tremendous help and the staff is absolutely amazing. I will recommend this school to anyone looking for a school that always puts God and education first.
Alpha Christian Academy is an AWESOME school that provides a strong academic environment in a warm, fun, family-oriented setting.
I have been affiliated with Alpha for 4 years and it has been a wonderful experience for my children and for me. The staff is caring and not afraid to reach out and help in a time of need. The teachers give their undivided attention to each child in the class and keep God at the center of everything they do. The administrative staff has been supportive and understanding. I would strongly recommend this school to anyone looking for a positive Christian environment that will encourage growth and enrich their child's life beyond measure.
I have a to rate the school a 5 because it has many oppportunity for parents to be involved with there child's education. The staff is very professional and helpful. The Leadership is great because they are always ready to listen to the parents. There safety and discipline is right on target.
Alpha is wonderful for elementary school aged kids but they clearly lack direction for the middle school that they have just added a year ago. They employed two teachers for the whole middle school. Teachers that supposedly came with impeccable references but struggled to teach a significantly small group of kids. Administration's refusal to acknowledge that there was problem, put up a huge barrier between staff and parents. Bottom line you do not readily dismiss paying customers. Spanish is advertised but after 3 years those kids can't even congregate a verb.
Miss Soto's pre-k classes are amazing. The children love her and learn so much. She understands the inportance of both social-time and study-time.
Alpha is a fantastic Christian school with a 'family' feel to it. My daughter has been attending since she was 4 years old and is now in 6th grade, and I wouldn't have her anywhere else. I always feel secure in knowing she is in a safe, nurturing environment on a daily basis. I can take comfort in that. If you're looking for a great Christian education, look no further than Alpha Christian Academy!
The teachers at this school are wonderful, and the education is as well. I don't care for the administration, as they have the tendancy to foster an 'us vs. them' mentallity. It is a large family, and I would highly recommend it. Also, it is the only Central Florida school that accepts K3 - K5 with a december 31st birthday cutoff. And the teachers for both the K3-K4 and the Kindergarten program are fabulous!
