My son attended Kindergarten at Heritage for a little over one month. Before he enrolled, I fully disclosed the fact that he had special needs. I was promised special accomodations, an aide, a tutor, and was told that the school had extensive experience dealing with special needs children. It was not until after the first day of school that I found out his teacher had zero experience with special needs children, and in fact, had absolutely no patience for my son, and exhibited a terrible attidude towards my son and me! I was assured by administration that they would work with my son, until I get an unexpected phone call in the middle of the school day informing me that I had to pick up my son, and he could not return! My son cried every morning and did not want to stay at school. He was miserable, frustrated, and was treated like a nuisance. I would not recommend this school to anyone, especially families who have children with any type of disability!

My stepdaughter attended school at Heritage for Pre-K and is now in public school and excels in her work. My son will be starting Pre-K at Hertiage this year and I am sure he will have as positive of an outcome as his sister.

Just enrolled my daughter for PK-4 this year and I'm so impressed with this school so far! It is amazing! The principal/administrator seems to know every child's name and the teachers are all attentive and friendly even when they don't know you are watching!

Heritage Academy offers many extra curricular activities for their students. My son enjoys dance and Kung Fu. My daughter is a cheerleader for during the football season. We are very pleased with the well rounded education that our children are getting. Not only are my children taught academics, they enjoy art, music, P.E., and Spanish classes. We are very pleased with Heritage Academy.

I am a parent of 3 children who attend Heritage Academy. It is a wonderful school. My children are very happy and are academically challenged everyday. We are really excited about the new sports. Football, Basketball, and Soccer will begin in 2008.

My son started Heritage academy last year. He is enrolled for k5 starting in the fall. I live over 30 minutes away from this school. I have to drop him off then backtrack 45 minutes to my job and then go back to pick him up. Its around 60 miles to and from. it is a lot of driving. But, it is worth it having him at this school. The hearts of the teachers and staff are out of this world. Everyday we are meet with a big smile and hello! The administrators are the absolute best. You can go to them at any time and talk to them. They address you by your name. There is so much love shown at that school. My son has learned so much being there and I cant wait until the new school year starts!

My daughter attended this school for one semester. School director was not active in classrooms for positive reinforcement only negative. We had a very poor experience at this school. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This school could be a great school however, it lacks the fine arts needed to be an all around good school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
