Adairsville Middle School has an excellent teaching staff that really cares for the students. The school is known for its excellent reading program. All students are required to read at least twenty-five books a year at their Lexile level and complete quizzes over these books. The school sits in downtown Adairsville and has great community support.

I have overall been very happy with the school this year. The teachers have been great, and so have the other staff members.

I hate this school very very much! There is very nice teachers but the students are very cruel. Both of my daughters come home crying because students verbally and physically abuse them. I do not recommend this school to anybody that loves there children. The vice principals are very bad vice principals because they don'st take my complaints very seriously. The school is also in bad condition and in my opinion not well taken care of.

This is probably the worst school I have been to in my 9 years of school. It has some of the worst administrators I have ever experienced.

I'm not sure if the problems I have with this school or really related to the school or just education's attitude in general. There was never any homework, the Spanish teacher is totally incompetant, and the gifted Alegbra teacher is really a science teacher that knows knowing about Albebra. Hopefully, the new principal will have open eyes to these issues and take steps to hold teachers accountable. Teachers discourage parent involvement, and refuse to take any responsiblity for student learning even when the parent is working hard to help the student. Agenda's are a useless expense because teachers don't use them as an organizational tool, nor do they expect or demand that student's do. Social Studies is a joke, 'read the chapter and answer the questions at the end' class, useless. Having said all that, my child loves the place and is very happy with the friends made there.
