This is a beautiful school. It is a neighborhood school and many of the students live in the immediate area surrounding the school. The only problem with this school is that my child complains of too many interruptions during the school day from discipline problems. There seems to be no action taken on behalf of administrators to curb this behavior. The students know that nothing will happen to them if they are sent to the office. They are sent back to class or in another teacher's class for time out. If the behavior was addressed and the consequences delivered consistently, more learning would take place. Although the school has made AYP for the past 5 years, the test scores would be much better if behavior was better.
