Morningside Elementary School

I love morningside elem. I have 4 young men that attended this school. The teachers were a great help throughout the school year. They always kept me informed with what was going on with my children. Whenever there was a problem with my boys, they called me and informed me with what was going on before sending them to the office. Morningside is not the type of school that is quick to suspend a child for any and evey little thing. The principle trys very hard to work with the students and parents. I was allowed to stop by anytime of the day. The facuilty makes the parents and caregivers feel very welcome at morningside. They send home weekly folders so that parents could keep up with there childs progress throughout the year. They also have after school tutoring for the kids that need extra help with class work.

I am very pleased with the staff at Morningside. I have three children that attend Morningside in grades K, 2nd, and 5th. I visit the school often to get feedback on my girls involvement and all of the instructors are always very helpful and informative. Glad to have such a caring group.

This school has very bad lunches. This school doesn't have enough lights.
