Really overcrowded and kids get no focused help from a clearly over stretched staff. Day starts with busload after busload of students who have to file into the gymnasium before they can go to class. It's amazing they can fit all those kids into the school. Just go and sit in the parking lot in the morning near where they drop the kids. It's astonishing. Our daughter claimed you could barely walk in the halls between classes without getting pushed, tripped and shoved. Our daughter was sick to her stomach every day having to go so we switched mid-year to a local private school. All the local private schools see their enrollment spike by 20-30% mid-year when public school parents get just too fed up with the overcrowded public schools.
The best teachers who are so excited and energetic about their subjects. They know their students individually. I cannot believe this is a public school. It may have the best Chinese program in the country and I have experienced nothing but great teachers and curriculum.
We moved here this year from out of state, where my son attended a private school. He's getting as good or better of an education at Webb Bridge. The teachers are amazing. His band teacher comes in an hour early four days a week to work with students and my son looks forward to going in for the early lesson. His French teacher set up each student in the class with a pen pal in France. His math teacher has put in extra time with him to help. I've never seen him so excited about school, and the teachers are making the difference.
Wonderful middle school!! My child had awesome teachers and learned a great deal while at this school. Their processes and policies are strong. Any issues the administration handles strongly and swiftly. GREAT community of students and parents. I give this school an A++. My child was fully prepared to enter into high school.
Webb Bridge has a very strong math, science, spanish, orchestra teaching team, kids are well prepared for their high school , some TAG 8th grade science teacher (especially some older teachers)even taught the kids skill for college. We as colleged educated parents are really appreciated. Thanks!
