We had an excellent first year at 'Dunwoody Springs '. This school does an excellent job of challenging a broad spectrum of students to preform their best. The individual needs of my two children, 1st & 3rd was accessed at the beginning of the year , one is an 'Advanced' student and the other is Dyslexic with an IEP. The teachers and staff help tether them into an appropriate instructional level that allows for acceleration opportunities. Something my older kids never got at private school!

My child attends Kindergarten at DSES, and I am so impressed by how much he has learned! His teacher, Ms. V, is TOP NOTCH! She pushes them each and every day, and she is always willing to help you help your kid be the very best they can be. She knows how to run her class effectively, and the kids are always excited to learn. Love the school, love his teacher, love it all! I doubt my child would be as advanced as he is had I put him into a over-priced private school. Every parent should send their child to Dunwoody Springs!

Dunwoody Springs is an amazing elementary school. I have been teaching here for 2 years and will never be the same. We are a family in every sense. Teachers help each other with strategies, rigorous lessons, and differentiation so all students can learn. Also, our administration is fabulous! They are helpful, responsive, and always open to talk! They only hire teachers that strive to meet excellence. We are a hard working team because the students matter most and we want to meet their needs. We have our own writing specialist that comes to train us on teaching writing--it shows in our test results! Professional development is very important to every person at DSES and we attend trainings regularly. Students are taught the 4 Dolphin Norms: responsibility, respect, being positive and safe! Great school-come check us out!

We have three children, and have been at DSES for 8 years. Our experiences have been terrific. The teachers are very dedicated and talented; most have degrees and professional certifications above and beyond what is required. Our school incorporates a "TAG" (talented and gifted) curriculum for all students, and teachers have special TAG certifications. Our principal, Mrs. Freeman, is absolutely top notch. She spends a lot of time in classrooms and fosters a team approach with teachers to help ensure student success. I can't count the number of parents who've told me they switched from a private school and wish they could have started over by sending their kids to DSES from the start. I can't say enough good things about our wonderful school and suggest you come visit and see for yourself how we're building a legacy of excellence!

This is an amazing school! I pulled my children out of private school and was apprehensive of placing them into the public school system. The teachers and staff are amazing! The quality of education that my children are receiving makes me wonder why I ever paid for private school. The curriculum is great, they teach the children wherever they are and the teachers are great at communicating with the parents! The test scores are awesome and they are among the best in the Sandy Springs area! I would challenge anyone to take a tour of this school and not fall in love!

This is our 4th year at this school and we are EXTREMELY happy. This school has an amazing administrative staff, lead by a phenominal principal, and fabulous, energetic and caring teachers. I would put our teachers, curriculum and students up against any private school in the area. Our kids are amazing!! They are happy and well behaved. We have a wonderful group of parents dedicated to our school as well. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else and feel so fortunate to have it as my neighborhood school. My child has learned so much in a loving, secure, caring and challenging enviorment.

If your 1st grader attends Ms. Glazier's class they are in for a real treat. While this is her first year at Dunwoody Springs she is not jaded to some unethical actions and routines like some of the long time teachers and have a genuine love for teaching. The staff is very close nit so beware. Over all the curriculum is great it is the front office staff and other teachers that makes the experience not so good. I give my overall 2 year experience here a C+

Really like this school. The energy in the building is really fabulous. You can tell the teachers and admin really care about the children and WANT to be there. They use in-school field trips and technology to enhance the education the kids are given in the classroom (most classrooms have those Promethean boards - great stuff). Everyone is very loving from the custodians to the front desk personnel to the principal: the kids (and their parents) feel welcomed and appreciated. We're really enjoying our experience there and so glad we chose public over private. My two students are thriving at DSES!

Dunwoody Springs is an AMAZING school! You cannot find a more highly qualified, creative and caring staff! We all go above and beyond the call of duty to provide optimal learning experiences for ALL learners! We believe in educating the whole child and I am proud to be a teacher in our building!

I've been a parent at Dunwoody Springs for 4 years and I've been thrilled with the quality of education my two children have received there. Every teacher they have had has been stellar and my kids are continually challenged and encouraged even though they are very different learners - I know they are not using the 'cookie cutter approach' there. The principal is great and has the best interest of the kids at heart (probably because she also has a child attending the school). I would like it if the parent involvement would be a bit higher than it is, but it is growing steadily and the parents that are involved are great. Can't say enough good things about Dunwoody Springs; I would recommend this school to anyone!

What a great school. The principa, Mrs. Freeman is amazing. She knows her students, parents and teachers well. She fits the school to best benefit the needs of the kids... My daughter has Mrs. Agri. I am so thrilled with her. She is kind, sweet and above all one of the most spectacular teachers I have ever been with. I have 3 older kids who are now in middle school so I have seen a lot of teachers. Not one holds a candle to this one

We finished our first year at DSCS and all I can say is WOW! My daughter received a private school education at a public school. Mrs. Agri was the BEST! She motivated my daughter to above and beyond the normal expectations. Lucky for us, she is moving to first grade and taking her entire class with her!!! Mrs. Gainey could not find a better teacher!

I am new to Dunwoody Springs. My son has Mrs. Agri. It was nice to see her name splashed all over this sight. She is pretty amazing. High expectations, a caring disposition and a really funny sense of humor. I think we need to let more parents know about this sight so we can see opinions of some of the other great teachers at the school. I am sure it is full of them.. Great job Mrs. Agri! Ahall.

It's only been 6 days in Mrs. Agri's class for us and I have to say that we are extremely happy with our decision to send our daughter to public school. Mrs. Agri is keeping us busy and keeping us involved. We love it! We're looking forward to a great year!!

I am so very sad that the school year is about over. My daughter has had Mrs. Agri this year in kindergarten and has loved going to school everyday. Mrs. Agri has an amazing way with young children. She encourages individuality, creativity and high academic achievement. I wish she would continue with my daughter all the way to 5th grade. Kudos to Dunwoody Springs for hiring such a fine teacher.

We have been at the school for 3 years and are looking forward to the next. We have rising first and third graders who learn in different ways. The school has always been supportive whether it was additional work one or additional help for the other. Great School, principal, teachers, and staff. The diversity in the school is an asset to all.

Great school. We bought a condo a just 2 miles away and had to change schools. My kids miss DSCS sooo much and so do I. I didn't appreciate it enough when they were there. Teachers are great, strong focus on core subjects and very good prep for the CRCT. If we could afford a house in that district, we would move in a heart beat!!!

Great School. I really saw the improvement in my sons. Located in an area with expensive housing though. I Just bought a house and had to leave the area as I couldnt afford it. So sorry to leave.
