Our children have gone to Northwoods Montessori for over 6 six years. This school actually goes to upper elementary levels. When I ask our children what was the best part of their day, they always answer "Everything". They are so proud of the work they do at school. As far as academics go, they are way ahead of their peers in other schools. The teachers have been there an average of 25 years. They are dedicated to each and every child. The child always comes first to the teacher. The administrative staff is always available to help with any questions or concerns. The director waits outside to greet all of us, rain or shine. The school has a great diversity in cultures. Our families come from all over the world. We feel like part of a community/village that cares for the development and encouragement of our children. Here our children are growing into self-confident, inspiring leaders. We definitely recommend Northwoods Montessori to anyone looking for their child to have an excellent start.

My son attended Northwoods for six years. Our experience was very positive. The faculty is outstanding. All have many years teaching experience and are knowledgeable and caring. The school community is diverse. Parent participation and support are obvious . A great school! I highly recommend it.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
