Coan Middle School is a place with excellent, skilled and caring teachers. The office staff is the friendliest and most family oriented place within the building. True enough Coan has not always been the choice where many parents wanted their children to attend but it has truly change for the better over the years and the staff and administration is to thank for it all. Kudos!!!!

A great place to work, a great place for kids, a great place for leadership, a great place for children. The building is nice and clean, the principal is extremely visible and knows all the children. I love this place.

this school is unacceptable. The students cuss out the principal. The students are wild outside in the morning and in the afternoon. I have had my child complain about how the principal spoke to them. The parents who have had nice things to say about the principal are not in their right mind. Which makes me ask, if the school is so great, why did they get a 4?

I found the school dissatisfying. There are a few exceptions Ms Byrd for one who is the Counselor and Ms Haggins.

I am amazed at how competent this principal is. He runs that school like a drill sargant and yet admirable to the children in the school. He is well spoken and knows his stuff. He sat down with me and explained all the options that were available to my failing and sometimes disruptive child. He is not afraid to tackle his staff when they fall out of place. the teaching staff needs some improvement but in my three years at the school he has replasced more than half of the staff. The ILS and the assistant principal are both following in his lead. Coan is a great school.

At first my mom though the school wasn't going to be the best but it turned out to be terrific. Im proud to say I went to Coan. The teachers are awesome. we had fun but stayed on task. It may look tough but one of the few best.
