Sutton Middle School is the perfect example of what a public school can be. With the support of a great principal, dedicated teachers, hard working students and involved parents Sutton is achieving the goals of all schools. Students are being educated at a high level and becoming young men and women of character.

I love that whenever I go to Sutton Middle School there are always teachers and faculty in the halls interacting with the students. I also love the morning announcements in which the principal Mrs. Sophianos gives the kids a 'thought for the day.' They truly are helping us raise well rounded children.

I am a teacher at the school as well as a parent. We have a really diverse population that works together. The parents are involved and supportive. Most importantly, the kids are really nice to be around.

I love Sutton Middle School because there are so many activities offered, that everyone can find friends with whom they have something in common. Sutton offers about 11 sports teams, some of which are completely supported by the PTA because the school district does not pay for them. As far as clubs go, Sutton offers everything from Reading Bowl Team to Recycling Club, Sigma Math Team to Puppetry Club. In addition, the music program at Sutton is excellent. As well as band and orchestra, Sutton has its own Jazz Band and Mariachi Band.

Sutton understands what it takes to put children's education first. They offer a variety of opportunities for my daughter to her classmates to develop into our future leaders, athletes, musicians, educators and many others things.....

I learned a lot at Sutton. Not just academically but socially. That's where I learned who I was. I made great friends and I'll never forget how caring and involved the staff and PTA were.

Sutton Middle provides such a wonderful experience within a well rounded environment. I couldn't have made a better decision in raising my child within such an amazing community. She is an Honor Roll student and an accomplished musician and Sutton provides her with the tools necessary to continue to flourish in addition to what she learns within our home. Please look into to Orchestra opportunity. You will not be disappointed!! Me

They have the most amazing PTA. Non-stop energy and commitment. They're green and working hard to put the public trust back into public schools at a time when budgets are being slashed. With next to no funds, they have performed miracles!!
