I have had a child at this school for two years now, and I am very impressed. I visited more than one school and interviewed staff when we were selecting a school, and this school stood out to me. It is small enough that the teachers and principal can and do learn everyone's name and take a personal interest in each student. The teachers I have known so far are dedicated, hard working, and eager to do what it takes to bring out the best in their students. This school was recently approved as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, thanks to the leadership of the principal, the hard work of the teachers, and the support of parents. My child loves it there, and is thriving and learning. I think the quality of education at this school is better than the Great Schools rating reflects.

This is a great school with awesome faculty and staff. They encourage parents to be involved and appreciate any and all support parents have to offer. LFHE is a rare gem in Richmond County!

We pcs here in the middle of the year so that was a hardship for my daughter however the staff and her teachers made her feel welcome and had her loving to go to school again. Her teachers were very nice and brought her up to speed where she need to be for her grade level. This a great school and i hope it stay that way but more parents need to help out and not only come if their child is in trouble.

LFH is a caring and energetic school community. The front office staff are knowledgable and caring and truly help parents any way they can. The teachers are open and helpful with a true love for our kids. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Everyone from the Media specialists, custodians to teachers puts their best foot forward every day.

This school has a great curriculum but for the most part the teachers are mediocre to say the least and the principal is the worst one. They have no idea how to run a good school that's parent friendly and where the parent might feel welcomed at the least. That's a recipe for failure.

Excellent school - caring and concerned teachers, and the principal is the most enthusiastic and connected principal we have ever seen. She knows every child by name, and shares in their successes. Every teacher our son has had has been nothing short of wonderful! Highly recommended school.

The school is the Absolute Best!!!! The teachers are very very good, caring, patient, and loving. My daughter loved the school, kids, and teacher. I've never seen a principal at any other school more happy to be doing his/her job and so involved with the children like I did at Lake Forest Hills. I give this school a 100% A++++++. Highly recommended!

Before 2003 this was considered by most parents to be one of the best schools in Ricmond county. If you are able to get past the surface picture you will see a school heading down hill FAST!

This is an excellent school. My child learned so much. And her teachers and peers made her feel that there wasn't anything that she couldn't achieve if she put her mind to it and the effort. All she talks about is the things that she learned at Lake Hill Forest Elementary. The teachers were kind and helped her whenever she needed it. The other students helped her and were kind to her there wasn't any bullies. They all just worked together like one big famiy. She was in Mrs. Lewis class and she is excellent teacher. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. We need more teachers like. My daughter needed a little extra help in certain areas and had special needs in some and she was there ready, willing, and able. My hat goes off to Mrs. Lewis and her Aide. Thank you from Heather Barnett and Family.
