John Johnson Elementary School

My son is an only child and it has always been hard to get him to leave my side. From every daycare to school his attend in the past it has always been a lot of crying. His first day it John Johnson was the best we have ever have. He is up and ready to go to school everyday and was upset the first weekend when school started. If it was up to him he would go 7 days a week. He loves his teachers and everything about going to this school. Even as a parent all the people that work there are really nice, caring and loving to us as well as all the student. It really warm my heart to know that everyday my son walk in the door the same person is there saying good morning, a hug and a smile for every child. That right there start the children out with a good day and know that they are in a safe place.

Our family has been unbelievably impressed with this school. Our son has been challenged academically and has excelled beyond belief. We have been amazed that the Principal and Assistant Principal know each student by name. The students are greeted every morning and spoken to individually. This is certainly a top notch school and one that I am eternally grateful we had the opportunity to be a part of.

My daughter attended JJE, taught there, and now her children attend there. The administration and faculty really care about the students and work hard to help them grow in every way. Area demographics are challenging but children can get an excellent education at JJE.

The school is great. Look at the test scores. The principle knows each child and the famlies.The kids get art and music classes.
