I think this school is GREAT!! To the parent who said (I am going to copy it) "I do feel that her teacher could do better with teaching her things like writting her name and counting .I know that coloring is good too but it seems to me that there is to much of that and not enough of practicing her writing her name .I feel she should be learning it at school .yet everyday she comes home with a back pack filled with color sheets which i am not saying aren't just as important .But it seems to me that i am being made to Teach her to spell and write her name .I put her in kindergarten to learn these things .Why should she go to school if i am the one teaching her ?" Maybe your daughter does the sheets during free center time like my children do (both in kindergarten also). Do you work with your child at home with her writing and spelling of her name? Yes they should learn at school, but the learning DOES NOT stop when they get home...

Our child began 5th grade at Lamar County after a terrible experience at a local private school. We are amazed at the passion that the staff and administration put into their work. There is a bright, positive atmosphere. With the wide range of students, the school is doing a great job.

This school could use a lot of improvement. I am very dissapointed with the education that my daughter is recieving. I think she does too many worksheets and not enough interactive learning. I think character education needs to be a part of the curriculum rather than overlooking it when children are horrible to each other. Overall, I am not impressed with the school at all.

I think the Primary school was much needed here .The school is been great so far my 5 year old is really enjoying her first year here in the kindergarten. I do feel that her teacher could do better with teaching her things like writting her name and counting .I know that coloring is good too but it seems to me that there is to much of that and not enough of practicing her writing her name .I feel she should be learning it at school .yet everyday she comes home with a back pack filled with color sheets which i am not saying aren't just as important .But it seems to me that i am being made to Teach her to spell and write her name .I put her in kindergarten to learn these things .Why should she go to school if i am the one teaching her ?

We love the new school, its so bright and colorful.Everyone is really nice there.Test Scores are really bad butI beleive they will be better and there working hard on this matter.Ms.Adams is the greatest person to deal with at the school. I do feel as Uniforms are not needed and we should worry more about reading and math before uniforms. Ms.Hitson is the greatest teacher at the school.
