We elected to put our son in GIES when he was in Kdg. We are in the Glynndale Ele. zone, due to that schools very low testing scores we were given a chioce of schools. GIES had a K-1 program that fit our son to a T! He is now in the gifted program and going into 2nd grade. I ame VERY involved at the school and the PTA. This is a very safe and caring invironment that I will fight to keep my son in! :) They take time to help those who need x-tra, parents also help with kids in areas of difficulty whithin the classroom. This is a quality school any parent would be able to feel safe knowing the best is being done for a child on any level.... can you tell...I'm happy! So is my son! That's even better!
