Rusk Middle School

Not very impressed with school thus far. While most teqchers are competent, I seem only to meet the arrogant one. Teacher- parent communication is lacking.

I really love this school! They really seem to be preparing my child for high school. The teachers are held to a high standard. The staff also is very welcoming of parental involvement and that is so important to me.

Dean Rusk Middle School was about average for a public school. I enjoyed it a lot though. There were a few problems there such as possible gangs (though fights were rare- I only heard of one while i was there) and one of my teachers didnt really teach us at all (she gave us busy work the whole year like copying different articles but never anything where we actually learned). There were a few drama problems and the school is in an aging facility but other than that I liked it. My other 4 teachers were lots of fun and taught very well. There are lots of people to be friends with and its a very sports involved school. Basketball cheerleading is very easy to make but the chiefs football cheerleading is harder. there are other sports too: soccer (girls and guys), wrestling, cross country ect. Overall it was good.(:

We love this school! The teachers are all quite competent, the administration is very communicative and the kids love it.
