I am a current student here at Woodland as of 2009 and I have had a great experience here. Sure, some of the teachers aren't the best and should be replaced but overall it is a good school. This school as of 2008-2009 did not meet the Georgia AYP Standards due to low test scores, the school is striving to improve and is doing a great job at that. A++ School!

I went to Woodland High School all four years of my high school experience. I am a 2004 dual-seal graduate who moved on to go to a prestigious college (Berry College). Of my graduating class, there were many who went to prestigious colleges such as Berry, Shorter, Mercer, Presbyterian, Georgia Tech, among many, many more. I know in the graduating classes following me, there are several more students who went on to Berry. Woodland was, and I feel safe enough to say still is, an amazing school. They have a wonderful performing arts program, a good visual arts program, several athletic programs and pretty sound academic programs. As of now, they have four different academic tracks for people who have different career interests and/or different ways of learning; Tech Prep, College Prep, Advanced Placement, and International Baccalaureate. All are valuable; it s just a matter of finding your best fit!

My daughter graduated from Woodland 2-years ago and my son will graduate this year. Overall it is a good school. It provides as safe an enviroment as a public school possibly can. The education you get depends on what you put in to it. That is to say you can take easy classes that don't provide much education or you can take advanced placement classes that will challege the students and provide a very good education, for a public school. I don't think much of the current principal or assitant principal. They both need to be replaced! The school needs to become a charter school so parents have more control and the curriculum can be expanded beyond the restrictions of State requirements.
