Northside has been great! Even though there is a huge Hispanic population at the school, my child has not 'lost out' on anything. He has been able to learn about other cultures, learn social skills, & make many new friends. Each teacher seems interested in my child. They also seem to be a lot of fun. It seems the calendar math program has improved every child's math skill. My child is in Kindergarten and can multiply (simple #'s), answer word problems, and tell time. I feel very welcome when I go into school.(Very important) I am not afraid to ask to speak w/ my child's teacher or visit the classroom. I feel the school board did a great injustice to Northside when the principal was moved in April; however, teacher's and admin have stepped up and continue to make Northside the best school on Pilpot Street.

I think that Nothside school is the best, most diverse elementary school in Cedartown. Mr. David, the principal is great and always willing to step in place and perform any job that will benefit the children. I believe the teachers there are very caring and truly concerned about the well being of each child. Northside is very parent friendly and enjoys having parents involved with the students. There is a very diverse population and cultural differences at Northside and I feel that the staff does very well and treats each child equally and with love. It is very unfortunate that the Polk County School Board places a stereotype on all of our schools and therefore limits our school system to be the best that they can. It is a shame so many Cedartown children are leaving schools like Northside because of reasons that are out of the teacher's and principal's control.

My child and I love this school and couldn't ask for a better school. The principal's are fair and they participate with the school activities. The teachers are always tring to help the students and they try to help the parents out when it comes to the children. They always have activities for the children and the parents. It has been a wonderful experince that we have enjoyed. Thanks Northside

Northside elementry was a great experiance for my child and me. We both loved it. The teachers seem like they are really concern and act like they really want to help in anyway they can. The principle is fair and is always there when you need to talk to him. Their are alot of activities for the children and parents together. And there is things for everyone to get involved. You couldn't ask for a better school.
