McClarin Success Academy is performing well in terms of helping students succeed, as some of its students were underperforming academically in previous schools. McClarin is constantly evolving and acheiving positively on various levels. It's administration should therefore be applauded for its efforts, and to be encouraged to keep up the good work.

McClarin Success Academy is located in downtown Historic College Park, GA. The school represents a wide range of students from different backgrounds. McClarin provides a comprehensive array of educational opportunities to serve the students and to keep the high school dropout rate to a minimum. The Principal is a young, energetic and dynamic leader that is committed to helping students succeed beyond high school. He has raised the bar and is highly respected by his staff and business leaders in the community.

The GHSGT is a standards-based assessment, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Georgia. Students must pass all parts of the GHSGT in order to graduate from high school. The goal is for all students to pass the test.
