This school has so much gossip and low staff morale its ridiculous. The principal engages in gossip and has her favorites. Staff is miserable here and it reflects on the students and parents. Many complaints have been filed at the district officeby teachers and parents but they turn the other way and pretend nothing is wrong. Do not get a job here or enroll your child if at all possible!

Georgetown is a fair school. They do provide the knowledge that the students need, but the parents have to be involved in the student's studying plan in order to keep the child leveled. I admire that fact that when I approached my child teachers with advice to help assist my child they really listened and supplied me with detailed information regarding the subjects to help me help my child. For example: The social studies teacher provided a review sheet for the chapter to better assist students in what material to study for the chapter test. The Science teacher showed me a copy of the current test and then pointed out the material on the test that was studied in class. There are always room for improvement, but overall they are doing well with what they have.
