WHES is an exemplar establishment. As I enter this institution of learning, creativity oozes in the hallways! If you want to send your child to a school of learning and growing, look no more. Wesley Heights Elementary School is an amazing place. My child comes home every afternoon excited to do her homework so she can return to her favorite place, besides home;). Literacy is an essential initiative and this establishment of this fact is on the ball! The library at this school is a haven for bookworms! Every afternoon my child comes home with another tale to explore and it doesn't hurt to have such an amazing librarian! She's the best in the district! If not the entire state! The teachers are so kind and helpful I couldn't wish for a better education for my child to recieve! I can't think of a better education than what is presented here! WHES is a model for every elementary school and this fine institution of learning is my home! Go bulldogs! Woof! Bark! Howl!!!!

Mrs. Benson is the best teacher ever! My kid was fortunate to have had Mrs. Benson in third grade and then again in grade 5. So glad to have been a part of the WHES community of learners!

I believe Wesley Heights Elementary School has a lot of potential but right now it is not striving to get there. My complaints are as follows; 1. The 1st graders were not given enough homework so that the parents could see their children weakness and help develop them. 2. There was no permanent para-professional assigned to one 1st grade class. The teacher was left alone to try to teach unsettled children. This was an inconvenience and had to take away from her teaching time. A. You did not find out a child was having difficulties with certain subjects until the end of the week when there were 'F' paper in their folders. 3. There were class and school rules in place but was not enforced (ie. personal property was taken). 4. The PTA had one person running it. All the officers were pushed out of participating eventually. No one cared to investigate, although many complaints were made to the correct people. A. The only ideals that were exceptible was the presidents. B. The only functions that were given was from the president. C. The money was spent on the school the way the president saw fit (next year the husband will be president.......). 1.Spent on beatifing the school grounds, when the children had no supplies in the classes. D. So many functions was suppose to be fundraisers and so many were suppose to be free. There were no free events for these kids. E. There were nothing put in place to develop the children education.
