While there are several extracurricular clubs, there is not much dedication by the advisors of some of the clubs. Would like to see it taken more seriously. Principal is 'welcoming' however seems to somewhat tire of concerns if not resolved in first meeting, unfortunatly. Wish there was an organized P.E. Class with grades given on report card. Georgia doesn't seem to think this is important as schools up north.

My daughter has been attending River Road since aug 2004. I really like the school and teachers. When we moved here from south carolina I was worried that mt daughter would like the school. I'm happy the say, she loves River Road Elem.

Great class size, this school is not over crowded. Strong leadership and a focus on test scores.

River Road is a great school because of the safe environment and the quality of education provided for the children. I have experienced a very friendly 'family-like' atmosphere at River Road. The Principal has an open-door policy and welcomes parents to contact her if there are issues/concerns/questions/comments, etc. I believe that parents should be heard and River Road welcomes this. I wouldn't want my daughter at any other elementary school. Not to mention, our Partner In Education, W.C. Bradley is second to none!
