The East Jackson Middle School faculty sets high standards for its teachers, students, and parents. The teachers are caring and supportive of students, and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure student success. The school faculty goes above and beyond to give the students of East Jackson a world class education. The school offers a fantastic after school program to help students meet the standards for the CRCT. Students get extra help in math and reading twice a week for two hours. I would rank this faculty among the best in the state. East Jackson Middle School connections offerings are varied and the sports teams are competitive. The football team won the league championship last fall. The overall school climate is one filled with pride and success stories in all areas of school operation. Thanks to great leadership at all levels, the students who attend EJMS are truly champions.

The admin and teachers have a respectful relationship which shines in their work with students. Parents and students alike feel welcomed and supported by teachers and administration. The administration works very diligently to improve student performance and relationships with the outside community. Teachers express an interest in improving themselves as professionals. This school is excellent. The teachers care about the students and what they are learning. The administrative staff is very organized and are there to help in any way possible. The schools appearance is clean and functional, easy to fine classrooms.

EJMS is a wonderful learning environment for students. The teachers and administrators work together to make their program successful. The building is always clean and the doors are always open to parents and community. Students are rewarded for their successes through different incentive programs in the school. It does not matter at what time you enter the building, you always feel welcome by the administrators, teachers and students. It is obvious that everyone respects their school and supports it tremendously. It is good to know that my student is receiving a top education in a very safe environment.

Students at EJMS are supported tremendously by the faculty and staff. Administrators work hard with teachers to support them during instruction and with any other issues that arise. Administrators are very supportive of parents and the community as well. The large mentor program helps those students that need extra support from outside the school. EJMS offers numerous clubs and after school activities to help students grow and learn though activities outside the classroom. The teachers are top notch and work hard with parents and students to make the student as successful as possible. The parents know their child is in a safe environment because of the SRO (School Resource Officer) program that is in place. Safety is also a major factor with the administration. They run a very secure school by working well with the SRO to provide a very safe school environment. The administration took this step to the next level with the installation of Lobby Guard. Lobby Guard is an electronic sign-in program that monitors visitors by scanning their driver s license and alerting the office staff if there is a problem. EJMS was the pilot school for this program and as a result all Jackson County schools now have this system in place.

This school has one of the worse admins in the county. When a child has a problem and that problem is solved they will nit pick just to find something else to complain about. The teachers are good at comumicating with you but the admin puts a stop to that to.
