Good school. My daughter attended 1st-5th grade. Overall decent experience for her. School could have done more in the way of assisting a bright student but (I'll be the first to admit) a bit lazy. However my son now attends and he seems to have gotten teachers that are more involved. I've been more satisfied with his overall learning experience.

I love this school! They are very innovative and place a high priority on getting kids involved with projects to help them learn, not just teaching from a book. I am thankful to have such a great school motivating my girls to learn!

As a former teacher under Rich Autry I can say that all teachers there gave their 110% to that school and those children. I am now teaching in another county (much larger) and I really miss the family atmosphere at that school. My years at HTE were wonderful.

I am a grandmother of three students who moved to the county at the end of last year. I recently dropped in to eat lunch with each. I was impressed with the overall appearance and learning environment present everywhere in the school. I was welcomed most courteously by the front office staff , principal, teachers and all other staff. As a retired teacher I feel very good knowing my grandchildren are being treated just as I would. What a wonderful place to attend school and to get involved with children learning! I look forward to visiting again.

My Daughter has attended HTE since 1st grade and she is now in the 4th grade. This is an excellent school, which cares a great deal about the students' academic achievements. Mr. Autry was a wonderful Principal, who gave his heart to his students as well as teachers. The school takes pride in the students ability to accel and it's parents' involvement. I don't know what I am going to do when it's time for my child to enter middle school.

One of the best schools I have seen so far. Teachers are very hands on with the students. My two children went ther and I was very pleased with the school all around. They have an asortment of extracurricular activities for all aged children. Parent involvment is opened at all times. I just can't say enough about the school. Wonderful all around.

Excellent school. Principal is a solid leader. Amazing specials integrate 3 W's in their curriculum. Extracurriculars rival some high schools. Teachers go all out for their students. Grade levels work in teams to make sure all students are being taught effectively. Office staff is best I've worked with (and besides being a teacher, I sub in the county).
