Walnut Grove is a great school. I couldn't be happier with my son's kindergarten teacher. She loves her students and works very hard to keep them engaged.

My kids absolutely love this school. They moved to walnut Grove after going to Youth Elementary for years, Youth is an awesome school and they were sad to leave there, but Walnut Grove is such a good school that they now do not want to leave there.

My daughter has been going to this school since kindergarten. This is a great school with great teachers. The thing I like the most was the teachers allowed us to talk and ask questions at the parent teacher conferences and not just telling us what our kids did bad. They kept us informed on a daily bases, I never had to wonder what my child was doing or working on. Communication is great and is the key to any success.

I am the mother of a kindergartener so this is a new experience with Walnut Grove Elementary. The staff is wonderful, my son only has 14 students in his class and they have a full time parapro. It is a small school with a very warm, caring atmosphere. They welcome parental involvement and have communication systems in place to keep parents informed, including online meal-pay program where you can monitor where your child's lunch money goes.

I have three children that were attending Walnut Grove Elementary since the first year it opened. My careful comparison of the two schools have made me realize just what a great school Walnut Grove Ele. school is. The teachers are caring and concerned for the children at every aspect of their development. My son who was in 4th grade there and diagnosed with ADD and Tourette Syndrome. He absolutelty adored his teachers. Walnut Grove Elementary is definately the best school in Walton or Newton County in my opinon.

My children came to WGE from the west where the acedemics are slower. My son was also fighting with slow speach developement. Thanks to WGE my children not only caught up but excelled quickly and after only one year my son no longer needed special therapy. The communication between teachers and parents is far beyind anything I would ever have expected! My only concerns are for the after school events. With the Valentine's dance, for instance, I felt such an activity was far too advanced for children elementary aged and I felt it inappropriate.

From what we've observed, the teachers at walnut grove teach because they really enjoy teaching (it's not just a job to them). The staff/faculty take the time to know each and every child. It feels like home. We love walnut grove elementary, it is an excellent school!

Walnut Grove is an excellent school! The teachers care a great deal about their students! As with all schools I'm sure there is room for improvement. I am more than satisfied with parent/teacher communication & staff involvement.
