This is the best middle school in the country. The teachers are excellent. The administration is excellent. The facilities are excellent. The music program is excellent.

Administration is not helpful at all and are not willing to help put you in touch with community resources. Asst. principal is a cognitive miser!

The school has a great misson statement--whatever it takes sounds determined and dedicated. I have not experienced such willingness to help students who struggle however. I have seen a punitive attitude exhibited towards shortcomings rather than encouragement and solution seeking for problems.

My daughter attended OMS, and as an educator, I have very high expectations. She had a fabulous experience in middle school, and I think this school is one of the best in the state. OMS 'cares' about every student.
