I think Southeast High is probably one of the best if not the best high school in Dalton. I was a student and I have 1 daughter that is currently a student and a daughter that graduated in '03. The teaching staff is great and the parent involvment is getting a lot better. The faculty has the most caring attitude towards the students which means alot. Southeast High is a wonderful place to send your children knowing they will get the best education possible. As it has always been noted 'you can tell a SHS graduate.' Thanks Southeast High!

The very best. We transfered from the city school system and it was the best move we could have ever made. I paid tuition thinking I was doing the besr for my child oh how wrong. My childs grades are good and she is involved in all areas of S'East. I asked her if she wanted to go back to city school her response was no way. She is involved in Band, Chorus, drama, Yearbook, Cheerleading Senior officer, and proudly wears the crown of Queen. S'East is a caring and nuturing school. From the Principle to the Janitors respect is given and received. The body of S'East is more like a family to me, If the students hurt then to entire school feels the pain. What a wonderful place to know you child is safe and if something should come up the family is there for help. Praise God for S'East.

I think Southeast is an great school, the whole staff has been wonderful to my two children. I have one in ninth grade and one in the tenth grade. I would not change schools for nothing. My children are involved with sports, which is football, basketball, and track. In my spare time, I am planning to involve myself, as a parent with some of the activities at the school. I really appreciate Southeast High and the staff. Thank you again for caring.

Enforcement of the dress code is poor. Southeast does have some wonderful teachers and some you wonder why they ever chose teaching as a career.( Honorable mentions) Tripp-Smith,Wilburn,Dunn,Mahan, all fantastic} My children have all been involved with the band program , which was great.

Iam a parent of two high school students.I am so pleased with the leadership and coaching that my children and myself have experienced.Southeast should be proud to have Coach Kell,Coach Brewer,Coach Randolph, and Coach Chattin.I cannot say enough about these coaches besides they are the best southeast could ask for.. Coach Long you are doing a great job.You are a great mentor for these students.Thomas Barton is not only a dedicated parent,he is also a guy that cares about all the kids, not just his.He has dedicated more time in one week than some of us work.Where would we be without him? Thanks so much...I cannot say bad things about our school, the only thing we need to focus on more is teaching, preaching, and more teaching about the problem with drugs and to stay involved in sports..

Southeast is a Great School, they thrive on academic excellence. Great principal, teachers, and the athletic programs are improving with great coaches on staff or coming in to the system. Boys Basketball team - great, girls are getting there, Baseball has new coaches that are working hard(and it shows)Soccer team is awesome. Southeast is a fun school, I have three teenagers that attend. They all enjoy SHS and what it has to offer.
