I think this is an excellent school. Like any schools, you have some teachers that aren't highly qualified as others. However, with the professional standards revision, teachers are competent and have to teach the material in order for the students to be promoted to the next grade level. Some schools do have setbacks, but its just a setup for something great to happen. It is happening at Carver Elementary.

The school is okay but some teachers are lacking in high expectation. They only teach the minimum. They should encourage our children to shoot for the sky. There should be more extracurriculum activities like art, drama, Beta Club, and chorus. There is no playground equipment. Children learn through play. Discipline is out of control at times and children lack in respect.

I pulled my child out of this school. He was just not learning in his classroom environment. The teachers were very kind to him but, the material or curriculum just wasn't for him. I think the private school better suits him.
