Our daughter has a wonderful teacher, but the school is not very inviting to parents. Additionally, there is not a very strong school community.
We love this school! Our son began the toddler program 4 months ago and we've watched his language skills explode and we are thrilled at how excited he is to go to school everyday. His teachers are warm, caring, expereienced in Montessori methods and just lovely people.
Our son attended the school for 3 years. The teachers were wonderful and professional. However, the owner of the school is not Montessori trained and it shows in the running of the school.
Our daughter attended the montessori school at emory for 5 years and she had a wonderful experience. She tested 2 grades ahead on the Iowa tests in Language and Science. Her elementary teacher was great and the class had children from Asia, Ukraine, India, U.S. and the Caribbean. The school is like a family environment with high parental involvement. The Montessori method works.
Emory Montessori is a wonderful school. Every single child gets all of the tools they need to achieve their goals.
