My grandson spent five years there; I volunteered all five years; fantastic teachers; and they really could use the money. Teachers paid out of their own pockets for field trips, etc. for kids. A large majority of the kids are from very low economic homes.

My daughter attended Cary Reynolds from Kindergarten through Third grade where each day she was met with smiles, love and respect. I went on a lot of field trips in those years and the children were so well behaved and accepting of each other in the midst of their cultural differences. Each child is taught to be proud of who they are and to respect others. The teachers are oustanding and they really care about the children and want them to succeed. My daughter was acceped to Kittrege Magnet School for High Achievers and made straight A's the 3 years she was there and I really believe it was because of the excellent foundation and love for learning she received at Cary Reynolds. The multicultural experience of attending Cary Reynolds can not be duplicated anywhere! All of the children are treated with respect and know that the people in thier school care about them! While the challenge of having children who speak no english, certinely impacts thier test scores, the teachers and professionals bring each child so far that it is amazing. To see all the hard work that each person puts in, you would think you were at the top school in the country! I love Cary Reynolds and would choose it over many other 'higher rated' schools in the area. Test scores are not the only measure of success!
