Connie Dugan Elementary School

This is the first year that my daughter has attended school in Paulding County. And, I couldn't be more pleased with the staff at Dugan Elementary. Everyone has been very welcoming and kind. My daughter is in the second grade, and is unfortunately struggling w/ some mood, learning and behavior problems. But her teacher(s) have the greatest patience and understanding with her. There have been several conferences, etc. with her teacher, principal and para-pros and they all are very concerned and supportive! Honestly, I am amazed w/ this school!! And, couldn't imagine any parent being dissatisfied. With my daughter having younger sisters, they will soon be attending school with her. And, I know that I will not have to second guess the care, structure and direction that the wonderful teachers at Dugan will give them!!!

Dugan Elementary from the first day they opened, I believe in 2005/06 has been the most wonderful school. My son was re-zoned there when they opened. He was in the first grade. They have an open door policy. You can participate, help out and just volunteer as much or as little as you want. They focus on quality teaching and truly nurture their students. Dugan is like a humongous family. I can't say enough about the PTA, they do EVERYTHING that needs doing. We had to move and went to another school (which is top rated) and there was no personality. After going to Dugan you are plain spoiled. I just hope Austin Middle is just as good. Marvelous school. Shout out to the office staff whose own kids have attended. Judy, Danielle, Marie just to name a few.

Dugan has been wonderful! This is my child's first year here and I've been very pleased with everything. I'm so thankful for the committed teachers and staff. Before this year my child had been at the other school for a long time and I was hoping that my child would adjust well and he has!

this is the most best school i ever put my kid in and she will be in 5 grade this year and i'm very sad that in 2 years she will be in middle school.

My 1st daughter goes to this school and I have no complaints about it. The safety protocols are more than I expected. I am also impressed with the speed at which new concepts are introduced to her. Reading is greatly encouraged at home which helps me as a parent to stay on top of her learning to read well. So far so good. I will also have a kindergartner starting there fall 2009

I have a k and 3rd grader.They are wonderful about getting your child more one on one if having problems focusing.They are not left behind.

We have a Kindergartner and a First grader. Dugan Elementary is more than we could have ever hoped for. Both my children's teachers are very involved and give personal attention to each student. I have witnessed this. I was so nervous about putting my kids in school, but my feelings are put at ease at Dugan. My kids talk with excitement on what they are learning and the fun things that surround them every day. The principal is caring and she has it together. We are proud to be a part of Dugan Elementary.
