We are in our second year at this school, and I am very pleased with the education that my daughter is receiving. Compared to all the other middle schools in Douglas County this school is by far the best school. The staff have always been nice and never rude. This school does not tolerate bad behavior and will discipline as needed. I have had one issue wih another student, and I called and talked with the principle and everything was taken care of. As far as a Christian education goes, this school has Wednesday morning fellowship if your child chooses to attend. I feel that my daughter is getting as good or a better education at Fairplay than at a private school. I cannot give this school enough praise and everyone at Fairplay are down home nice country people to you don't see if big city schools.

Great school! We are really happy with The school. We have 5 children and have had our children in many different schools, because we've moved alot. Fairplay is a very good school.

The administration at this school is the most disrespectful group of adults I have ever encountered. I would suggest the county look at replacing all of them.

This is school is the worst I have ever had to deal with I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. The teachers and staff are the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I can not wait until my oldest child leaves this school and I will look for private education alternatives for my youngest child before I will put him through the ordeal of having to tolerate the individuals at this school.

My son was enrolled from home school to the 6th grade this school year, and very disappointed with this school. Needless to say returned to home school promptly. With new staffing and attitudes expressed from teachers/personnel was totally shocking for the most. I tried to not make hasty conclusions but, never the less I was correct with my first impressions. I believe its a good school however, needs allot of improvement with everyday teaching skills/interaction with grade appropriate children. Too much homework and projects are given from multiple teachers. Just hope your child doesn't miss any school time because no way to make-up without reaching from an outside source for alternative actions to take. You must keep total involvement daily with school in order to track education/behavior. This grade is very tough grade, and schools need to reorganize the academic structure in order to succeed with children emotionally and academically.

I liked this school for the most part. However, their lunch is not healthy(greasy) and some of their dress code needs to be changed. I do not feel their PE classes are good, but they have a great foreign language program.
